this one started like most of our projects — with a simple message:“yo, wanna do something for the new single?” no big plan. no pressure. just the usual — us making stuff together. we’ve been doing this for years now. cover art, videos, you name it. basically, if his music has a visual side, chances are we built it together. the original idea was to shoot a few quick clips for instagram and tiktok. something low-key, just enough to give the release a bit of movement. but here’s the thing: we never really get into it until we’re in it. that awkward warm-up phase is part of the deal by now — two adhd brains waiting for the dopamine switch to flip. and when it does, everything shifts. we started off in a backyard in kreuzberg. moved on to a wall at karl-marx-allee. wrapped it up at gleisdreieck — chasing golden hour and catching a subway in the outro, almost by accident. we shot on norman’s fuji. no lights, no effects, just a tripod and good timing. somewhere in the middle of it all we realized: this isn’t just b-roll anymore. this is the full video.one of my favorite moments? that random rooftop performance. totally unplanned — and somehow, exactly what it needed. the whole thing turned out rough, black and white, raw and honest. exactly how we like it. no polish, no bullshit. just straight-up street energy. working together feels less like production and more like documenting a friendship. even if i keep messing up the song titles every single time — that’s basically tradition at this point. budget: none. day: solid. result: real.
